SovaSpace brings together encrypted storage, offline work, recovery, protected spaces, reading, media, knowledge tools and account controls. Availability can vary by platform, file, codec, account state and network conditions.
Getting started and account control
Account, trial and device behavior are stated here with the conditions that affect them.
SovaSpace uses your Google identity to establish the account and authorize the Google Drive access required by its storage model. There is no separate SovaSpace account password or lengthy registration form. Google may provide the identity and profile information you approve; Secret Space and recovery credentials remain separate.
The current evaluation begins when a new account creates its first Entry, lasts 7 days and supports up to 14 active Entries. SovaSpace does not request a payment card to start it, and the evaluation does not automatically become a paid subscription. When it ends, creation and expansion actions are restricted; existing work is not intentionally blocked from viewing, export or sync solely because payment ended.
SovaSpace is a private space for one person, and exactly one device is signed in at a time. Opening the app on another device ends the previous session; the earlier device keeps its local encrypted data, its keys and its trusted-device record, and signs itself back in silently when you return to it — no browser, no password, nothing to re-approve. Normal handoff and security revocation are different events and are treated differently.
Review device history, manage trusted access, and block or restore devices when needed. A normal device handoff is shown separately from an account-security action.
SovaSpace does not add behavioral advertising, sell private user content, or use private user content to train a NURSOVA generative model. Limited account, device, transaction and operational information is still processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
SovaSpace provides in-app and web-request paths for account deletion. The documented process covers normal SovaSpace-managed service, local and Google Drive data, while user-held exports, Cold Backup packages and independently kept encrypted mirrors remain under their holder’s control.

Storage, continuity and control
These capabilities describe the storage model, offline behavior, recovery requirements and practical limits around large files.
Titles, text, tags, attachments, subtitles and annotations are encrypted on the device before cloud storage. Local databases and local objects are encrypted too. NURSOVA’s control service receives limited account, device, entitlement and sync metadata—not readable Entry bodies or attachment bytes.
When an encrypted local copy is available, Standard Space can open and edit without waiting for Drive. Offline changes are durably recorded locally and synchronize after the network and required authorization return.
Windows Cold Backup can open read-only and offline. A complete independent path combines the verified Cold Backup control package, the Root Key and the required Nursova/ encrypted object mirror on storage you control.
Attachments are encrypted before upload, with durable progress and resume state where supported. Encrypted cloud video can be fetched and decrypted in ranges rather than always downloading the entire object first.
SovaSpace does not add a separate plan-based single-file ceiling for ordinary attachments. Actual usable size remains bounded by Google Drive quota and APIs, device storage, filesystem, memory, codec and network conditions.
Supported export paths include plaintext attachments and Entry export to Markdown or PDF, plus retained encrypted offline copies. After entitlement ends, viewing, export and sync are not intentionally blocked solely for non-payment; creation and expansion actions are gated.
Android interface
These are current Android product screens. Labels and availability can change with the app version, platform, account state and network conditions.

These current Windows screens use demonstration content and sanitized account values. Product labels and availability can change with the release.
Secret Spaces
Secret Spaces add protection inside SovaSpace, but do not claim to defeat screenshots, keyloggers or control of an already unlocked device.
Each Secret Space has its own password, keys and Recovery Key. Tactical Mode can configure two spaces, while the shared help reminder does not identify which protected space exists. Leaving the foreground returns to Standard Space; Secret Spaces do not provide backlinks or normal background media playback.
A saved Recovery Key can reset the corresponding Secret Space password. If no Recovery Key exists, the current product design also includes a protected delayed-reset path. Support still cannot retrieve the original password or read encrypted content.
Reading, files and media
These are local product capabilities, not a promise that every historical file, codec or complex document renders perfectly.
PDF and supported EPUB layouts can both carry visual marks linked to rich-text reading notes; those notes can include supported images. Region highlights, lines, pen strokes, rectangles, circles and bookmarks remain in a separate encrypted annotation file instead of rewriting the source document. Geometric marks also work on scanned pages without OCR.
SovaSpace uses a fixed 800-pixel layout and 1,132-pixel virtual-page definition so page numbers and annotation coordinates can remain stable across supported clients. This is not a claim to reproduce every publisher layout exactly.
The current viewing matrix covers more than 70 extensions across documents, images, source code, archives, DICOM, DXF, 3D, PSD, SQLite, Jupyter, Anki, XMind, fonts and more. Some formats are view-only and real results depend on the file’s version and complexity.
SRT, VTT, ASS and LRC workflows include subtitle search, click-to-seek, language-track switching and Focus Mode for pinning selected lines and repeating the relevant segment. Codec and platform support still apply.

PDF marks, long reading notes, structured writing and subtitle search are shown in the running Android product.
Knowledge workflow and reliability
Daily tools are described together with the boundaries and incomplete states that affect their results.
Entries support structured rich text, custom tags with global rename or merge, stable-ID wiki links, backlinks and a knowledge graph. Links and backlinks are intentionally limited to Standard Space.
Web capture removes dangerous styling, localizes supported images and sends them through encrypted upload. Source URL and capture time are stored inside protected Entry content. Mobile share flows accept supported text, web pages and files.
Supported PDF, EPUB, DOCX and XLSX searches distinguish a confirmed empty result from an incomplete search. Privacy-safe diagnostic bundles use allowlisted device, stage, count and error categories—not content, keys, tokens or attachment bytes.
Entries moved to Trash are retained for 30 days using server time before durable permanent-cleanup work proceeds. This helps with user mistakes; it does not promise recovery from arbitrary Google Drive deletion.
Local availability, network reachability, Drive authorization, quota and pending durable work are reported as separate facts. A failed task remains visible and retryable rather than being presented as complete.
Connected work
The graph and Entry tools expose relationships without moving private content into a separate public service.
A precise cloud claim
Encrypted Google Drive storage prevents the cloud copy from being useful without the required keys. It cannot guarantee that Google, an account owner, a device or an application will never delete an object.
